Administrative Intern Created materials and advertising for community outreach. Entered and maintained donor and member information for 93,000 sqft. visual arts facility. Louisiana ArtWorks creates an infrastructure for the growth of the creative industry by providing needed workspace and equipment for artists, while attracting the public as a premier cultural destination.

Graduate Program Assistant for The Hoffberger School of Painting Assist Program Directors in the daily operations of the program, act as a liaison between the Graduate Studies office and Hoffberger, and coordinate logistics for all incoming visiting artists and critics.

Art Therapy Group Leader Caring at Columbia works with at risk children and parents to strengthen coping skills. Designed in conjunction with Head Start to foster secure attachment relationships between caretakers and children.

Vista Vocational and Life Skills Center, Westbrook, CT 2000-2004
Painting Instructor (2004) Designed, developed, budgeted, and taught a painting course for students at Vista, a program for young adults with severe learning disabilities, brain damage, and psychiatric disorders.
Team Leader Coordinated responsibilities of student counselors to manage the residence facility at Vista.
Student Support Counselor Aided students with coping strategies, vocational skills, and daily living skills to gain higher level of independence.

RESEARCH EXPERIENCE AND PUBLICATIONS
Columbia University, New York City, NY 2006-2009
Supervising Research Coordinator, Division of Molecular Imaging and Neuropathology Managed daily operations of five research studies. Investigation topics included posttraumatic stress disorder, depression, panic disorder, and bipolar disorder. Oversaw 4 research assistants. Administered fMRI tasks and assisted with spectroscopy. Assisted in drafting protocols and grants for submission to the National Institute of Health (NIH) and Institutional Review Board (IRB).

New York State Psychiatric Institute, New York City, NY 2003-2005
Research Assistant, Division of Substance Abuse Coordinated assessments of medication (NMDA agents) for alcohol abuse. Trained participants in study procedures and computerized cognitive tasks.

Providence College, Providence, RI 1999-2003
Neuropsychology Research Conducted a study to investigate remote memory in the elderly using the events of September 11th. Developed and administered new scoring methods based on events of September 11th. Professional publications and presentations included:
